Here we go again.....

I have been struggling with diets and losing weight on my own. So I decided to try the hcg diet. I am at the heaviest I have ever been in my life (thanks kids). I just got my drops and all the goodies yesterday, so here I go.. Day 1 of this miserable diet. I better stick to it!!
I will try to update weekly!

Photography!

I have been so interested in starting my own business lately.. I am getting my own website up for making all kinds of baby items.. its not all the way done yet.. but my husband is doing a great job at getting it there. Im also going to start doing some photography on the side. I have a couple of photoshoots coming up in the next couple weeks that im super excited for! i cant wait to learn more about my camera and learn more editing skills. I also just bought a sewing machine so i can start making things..

Kelsey 6 months

Kelsey is now 6 months old! That's half way to a year!!
We took her to the doctor today.. I told the doctor that she just has no interest at all in rolling over. She just doesnt roll over. So she tried getting her to roll over and she said that its not that she cant, because she is perfectly strong enough too.. she just doesnt want to.. what a little stinker. We also told her that she is still waking up every 2 hours at night and asked what she thought we should do.. and unfortunatly, it looks like were going to have to try the Cry It Out method.. :(
She is now able to sit up with no support at all.
She is reaching for EVERYTHING.
She still LOVES bath time.
She eats a ton. She likes all kinds of fruits and veggies and she gets so mad when you stop feeding her.
She always smiles.. And has theeee cutest smile ever.
She has a little freckle on her leg :)

Happy 70th to my dad

Yesterday was my dads 70th birthday. I am so thankful he has made it to see his birthday for another year. He seems to be getting worse and worse. We went over to my parents house for dinner and I bbq'd filet mignon and we sang happy birthday.
I love you dad. Here's to another year.

1st post of 2011

I think its about time i posted about the holidays.. I have WAYYY too many pictures to post on here, so i'm only going to post a few, and you can look at my facebook for more.

This was Kelsey's first christmas and she was still a little too young to know whats going on. We tried to have her open a few presents, but big sister Erica decided she would open them for her :)

They got so spoiled from everyone this year, I dont know how i will survive another christmas with more toys and junk.. I think next year, i will do something different. 

The day after christmas was Erica's birthday. My baby turned 3! I cant believe she is growing up so fast. I asked her what she wanted to do for her birthday and she said she wanted to go to Pirate Pizza. They were closed on her actual birthday, so we had to wait until we had the day off together, so I had the family come over to our house for dinner on Erica's birthday and we played Kinect. It was fun. Then we went to pirate pizza on  Wednesday. A couple of friends came, and we played in the arcade, ate pizza and had a cake.

We had planned to have a new years eve party at our new house for a month and we were excited it finally came, The girls went and stayed with grandma. We had some of our great friends come over, we partied hard to bring in the new year. We all had a BLAST!

I finally got Kelsey's ears pierced :) She screamed bloody murder. It made me feel like the worst mom on the planet.. but boy does she look cute with them :)

We decided to trade our truck in for a new car.. Gas was getting too expensive since i have to drive 20 minutes to work. I love it!! its a 2010 Honda Civic.

Kelsey is 5 months old and she is now sitting up by herself :D She is such a big girl. I just love her to pieces. She is always such a happy baby.

Dyson

Zach got me dyson vacuum for xmas. I know it sounds silly to get a vacuum for my xmas present, but I absolutely love this thing. It works amazing!

Kelsey

December 3rd was a very busy day for us. We took the girls to see Santa. I was so excited because it was Kelsey's first time seeing him and i for sure thought Erica would be super excited. Everytime i see the white line (from a plane) in the sky, i tell Erica thats Santa looking at all the boys and girls and she always gets so excited and yells "HI SANTA! IM BEING A GOOD GIRL!" 

Boy was i wrong, we stood in line for almost an hour just to have Erica FREAK out. And not just a little cry when she sat on his lap.. but a full blown kicking and screaming and not letting go of us freak out. I wasnt going to walk out empty handed after standing in line for so long, so we sat her on his lap and ran while poor santa was holding a screaming child in one hand, and an infant in the other. All while smiling! 

After the torturous visit with Santa, we had to go torture our other child with shots :(

Kelsey Turned 4 months old on the 27th of November. I always dread taking my kids to the doctor.. not only because of all the germs there, but because i hate having other people touching my kids. lol.

Kelsey is doing great! Dr. Walker said she has a little bit of a belly button hernia, but nothing to worry about yet. She still hasnt been rolling on her stomach or back yet (she has a couple times) but the dr said its nothing to worry about until at least 6 months. 

Kelsey is now 16lbs 2oz = 91st percentile

26 inches long = 95th percentile!

Doctor said she is going to be one tall girl :-)

Poor baby :-( She didnt take shots well at all!

I cant believe my girls are growing up so fast. Erica will be turning 3 in just a few weeks, and my baby isnt going to be a baby much longer.

I love them both so much, words cant even explain. :)

On a sadder note.. 

Today is would have been my sisters 35th birthday. I cant believe she has been gone for almost 17 years. It feels like just yesterday we lost her. For those of you that dont know, she was killed in a car accident when she was 18 years old. I always wonder how things would be if she was still around. Its been hard growing up with no siblings around.
