Me and Erica made these yummy sugar cookies with pumpkins on them. Erica loved the pumpkins on them so she kept kissing them and didnt want to eat them. lol. She makes me laugh. I love spending time with her!

I wanted to get some cute pictures of Erica by some pumkins so i took her over to Albertsons and did a little photo shoot. She loved it but everytime i would whip the camera out, she wouldnt smile. And the wind was blowing a little so her hair kept getting in her face and her headband kept falling. Then to top it off, i realized i had my camera on the wrong setting so they didnt turn out as good as they could. But it was fun and we got a couple good ones.

Now, we just need to get some pictures done of us carving some pumpkins! Maybe on Friday.

Dont Judge

I got really bored at work tonight and i have just been on youtube looking at all kinds of music videos. There were alot that brought up old memories and made me miss my life as a teenager. Especially this one. I was totally in love with NSYNC And this is one of my favorite songs from them. When i was a Junior i learned this dance with the dance team. It was lots of fun and im surprised at how many parts i remembered. Theres no way i could do it now though.. that was back when i was 50lbs lighter and actually in shape..
I love NSYNC.. and if they ever got back together, i would totally go see them in concert... yeah.. dont judge..

Some Days

R.I.P. Rosella

Last week i got back to work and i was told that one of our residents was starting to pass away. i was in total shock because she was fine when i left. They told me that she would probably be passing away on my shift. i was a little nervous because ive never had someone pass on my shift. I sat with her for most of the night just watching her breath. She made it through my shift.. and also the next couple of days. On Wednesday morning, i was getting residents up to get ready for the day, i was in the room next to Rosella getting someone ready and all of a sudden i hear a big moan/sigh.. i immediately  ran in there and the moment i looked at her, i knew she was gone. I just sat there for a second.. hoping she would take a breath. I felt for a pulse, nothing, Her face just started turning pale white. I just started shaking. but i was happy because she was finally at peace.
Being in this kind of work is hard. :-(
Rosella was such a sweet little lady. She was 97 years old who probably weighed about 80lbs. I remember when i would go check on her in the middle of the night she would be up and tell me to come lay with her, and that i needed sleep. She will be missed dearly.

I Love my little family More than anything. Things have been going alot better lately. I have been looking at all the positive things lately instead of all the negative and realized that everything will happen for a reason. Right now, i am just going to live in the moment and cherish every second of it.

 

My phone finally just stopped working. I knew it was a matter of time before it would just completely go out. Zach was amazing enough to buy me a new one. I just love it. My old one would barely work and i would get so frustrated with it. and now my new one is awesome!

Hello My new baby.. I still need to get a new case for it because the one i already had doesnt fit on the 3G phone.

Erica is just like her daddy in so many ways.. always on the computer or the phone :-) hehe

Fall is in the air

I took Erica to the park yesterday and she had so much fun.. It was the first time that she actually went down the slide by herself! she didnt even ask me to help her. and she wasnt even scared like she usually is.. It started getting cold and she didnt have a sweater so we had to leave.. she wasnt to happy about leaving..
